The mediators at the Elder Mediation Center recognize that we live, work and mediate in a world in which most things are not black and white; shades of grey predominate.  One of the hallmarks of "Elder Mediation" is the notion that one of the parties, often the most critical party, may be experiencing some diminishment of capacity, either due to the natural process of aging or due to a lifelong or recent disability.
